One of my solar panel JA 455W stop working

Few days back my solar plant production decreases drastically, when inspected one of my solar panel (JA solar 455W) positive terminal of mc4 connector melted and broken and it also caught fire which causes black spot on the back side of solar panel. Before lodging complaint with the installer I have replaced damaged MC4 connector but the string was not working. The installer checked it and disconnected that panel from a series after which that string started production. I have that solar panel for hotspot or any other fire damage but the panel looks fine without any cell damage. Should i check its junction boxes for possible damage and can i repair it at home.
