SolarHub 5-year Training Summary: Countries and Organizations
It’s been exactly five years since the Global Solar and Water Initiative project was constituted. Within that time, tremendous effort has gone into building the capacity of WASH practitioners across the globe on the topic of solar water pumping. One of the most notable activity that has contributed to the growth of expertise and increased the confidence of implementers to adopt solar pumping use in water supply projects has been training.
In 5 years, 31 different training sessions have been conducted by the solar team and other academic partners.
The trainings have reached 1,003 individuals from across all six continents and 37 countries.
226 unique organizations have participated in our training, out of which 133 (59%) are humanitarian organizations.
